Project summary
Food distributors needed clean, strong, well-printed sacks that survive humid ports and repeated handling. White woven PP with offset print and optional liners delivers.
The challenge
Caribbean food importers and distributors repack rice, beans, sugar and grain into branded sacks for wholesale and retail. Bags must be clean enough for food, strong enough for repeated manual handling, and printed clearly with brand and product information — while coping with humid port warehouses.
The specification
- Fabric: white virgin polypropylene woven fabric, uncoated for breathable grains or coated / lined for sugar and flour.
- Sizes: 25 kg to 50 kg (including 55 lb and 100 lb trade formats).
- Print: offset or flexo print on both faces in brand colours.
- Finishing: hemmed or heat-cut top, single or double-fold sewn bottom, optional PE liner.
- Packing: compressed bales for container efficiency.
Why it works
- Hygiene — virgin resin, clean production and optional liners.
- Strength — woven PP tolerates repeated manual handling and stacking.
- Brand visibility — crisp multi-colour print at low cost per bag.
- Climate resilience — coatings or liners keep humidity out where needed.
