# Mesh & leno bags

> Woven polypropylene leno mesh bags for onions, potatoes, citrus, garlic, cabbages and firewood: 10–50 kg, red, orange, yellow, purple or custom colour, drawstring and printed labels.

Leno weave locks each weft between twisted warp tapes, giving an open, breathable mesh that does not slip or ladder. Air flows freely around the produce, so onions and potatoes stay dry and firm from field to market.

## FAQ

### Why are onion bags red?

Red mesh makes red and yellow onions look richer and more uniform, so it is a merchandising convention. Potatoes are often packed in brown, yellow or white mesh. Colour is also used to identify grade or origin.

### What size mesh bag holds 25 kg of onions?

A 50×80 cm leno bag holds roughly 25 kg of medium onions; 55×90 to 60×90 cm suits 30–50 kg. Final size depends on bulb size and how full you fill.

### Can you print my brand on mesh bags?

Yes. A printed label strip woven into or sewn onto the mesh carries your logo, weight and origin information.
